How cool is this? In order to build a wider audience for my novel All the Summers in Between when it comes out in paperback in May, my publisher decided to change up the cover. Rather than the historical-vibe T.S. Harris painting that graced the gorgeous hardcover, the paperback is lighter and brighter.
The colors and bathing suit and the vibe — all of it suit the novel brilliantly. Scroll down to see it!
It’s always struck me as funny how some people will only read books in paperback. They find a hardcover too bulky or heavy. While I agree that packing a hardcover book in your carry-on during air travel is a pain, I do it every time. I actually prefer the structure of the hardcover flaps and find it easier to read than the bendy, soft fronts of paperbacks.
That being said, my beautiful paperback is out on May 13th, and I hope you’ll consider picking it up in softcover. Don’t forget to preorder All the Summers in Between now here and here and here!
The new cover looks so modern & fresh! But I also love the original cover and the vibe that it creates.
I love both covers and the book too! It was the perfect summer read!
