Haha my creative gods also don’t care about bedtime, or chores for that matter, but I do find reading a book I admire right before writing useful and sometimes I meditate or microdose LSD or Ritalin before I write. Writing is fun already, but when you’re really in the zone, it’s even better!
"Get your chores out of the way" is an interesting tip, I need to check out the podcast. In this case for me, a mother of two young children, with a part time job and a part time business, the only time "all chores" are out of the way would be at night after the kids are finally asleep and before I crashed. I am not sure if that would be feasible, I do not have the energy to do anything productive at all most evenings. But I love the other tips like read the books you love to emulate and rewrite some written parts to get the story flowing again.
