Evil Eye, The Museum of Failures, The Postcard, and Tom Lake were my top reads of the year. My bookclub read & discussed Flora Lee and we all loved it, too. I’m hoping for many more excellent & memorable books in 2024!!!

Hi! I loved Tom Lake too. One of my absolute faves! I want to read The Postcard ; I forgot about it until you mentioned it. TY!

The Postcard requires the right mood, I think. It’s not an easy pleasurable read, but well worth the time.

I enjoyed Tom Lake as well. I listened to the audiobook and Meryl Streep did an amazing job. I'm curious about The Postcard... on my list.

Just last night, I added this to my 2024 TBR list. You may have boosted it's position higher/sooner! I didn't read as much fiction in 2023 as I wanted, but two I really enjoyed were The Kudzu Queen by Mimi Herman and The Address by Fiona Davis.

I love everything by Fiona Davis!

I've only read 2 of hers so far, but look forward to more, including her recent, The Spectacular, about Radio City Music Hall and the Rockettes. I heard an interview with her about that one and she disclosed that, like one of the characters, she has been diagnosed with Parkinsons. Sad to hear.
