Reading your comment about Mary-Beth Keane sent me straight to the bookshelf. I have only read one of her books, Fever, released here in Australia in March 2013. I know this because my copy is a proof and it even still has my reviewer notes tucked inside the back cover. (I used to be a literary editor.) More importantly, I can still remember it quite vividly.
An additional thought…You also didn’t have Dear Fiction with your previous novels. Could the muse be dividing her time between these 2 creative endeavors??? Is that an issue that creatives, specifically authors, run into? Is it best to be fully committed to one literary expression at a time so all the good stuff goes into the novel (or Dear Fiction) and isn’t diluted between the two? Just questions to ponder and keep you up at night :) xx lol
